Reverse: 1999 – Should You Pull Aleph? META Wise
Aleph will return on October 20, 2026 on his rerun banner. But the question is: Is Aleph worth pulling right now, based on META relevance? Let’s answer it in this Reverse: 1999 guide.
Aleph was released globally on June 19, 2025.
So it’s basically been more than a year since his first introduction.
And if we look at his dates alone, it’s normal to judge his performance relevance in today’s META.
I mean, who will pull on a one-year character for META? Especially since he hasn’t got his Euphoria, too.
But let’s jump into the guide first so we can better understand Aleph before we make our final decision on whether you should pull Aleph.
Aleph’s Kit and Skills

Most of Aleph’s skills revolve around Inspiration, Impromptu Incantation, Interpretation, and Clarification.
But what are those?
So let’s make sure we understand this first before we move further.
Basically, those four terms are closely related, especially the first two.
Impromptu Incantation is a unique mechanic in Reverse: 1999 that lets you collect stacks before using a special attack. And that stack is called Inspiration.
The more Inspiration you get during a turn, the harder your Impromptu Incantation will hit.
And Interpretation is a debuff that Aleph used to reduce Mental DEF and DMG Taken Reduction.
It’s a useful debuff for this Interpretation team because it is calculated based on enemies’ Mental DEF.
While Clarification is a buff to your allies that increases your Incantation Might. And yes, it is also included in this team’s damage calculation.
Most of his kit buffs your allies and debuffs your enemies.
He can also turn all Eureka consumed from allies into Inspiration from his Insight 1.
Should You Pull Aleph for META?
I will answer this question by asking you another question first.
Since his pull value is completely dependent on the team you’ve already invested in Reverse: 1999.
Are you already invested in the Blue Impromptu team and already have another core for this team like Barcarola and Kiperina?
If you have Barcarola and Kiperina for Impromptu Team
If you read what i just said before, it’s actually clear how important Aleph is in Impromptu Incantation team.
The main reason is that he can turn all Eureka consumed into Inspiration, which directly increases your Impromptu DMG. This is the most important factor and his main relevance on this team.
While he does that, he also reduces your enemies’ Mental DEF with his skill while at the same time buffing your characters.
This is important because Impromptu Incantation attacks on the last turn, or as a final attack before your turn ends.
That’s why stacking everything related to DMG calculation is meaningful in this kind of team.
And Aleph did the job really well in this one.
So pulling him right now is totally worth it to complete your Impromptu team. He’s a meaningful upgrade for this team.
But keep in mind, overall, the Blue Impromptu team is not the Top META anymore. Even if you put the newest limited like Rhiannon on this team.
So don’t expect this team to compete with other META teams like Dynamo, Conduit, or Ultimate.
The only reason you need to pull him on this rerun banner for META relevancy or performance is to complete your team variations.
If You Haven’t Invested in Impromptu Team
Then do not pull Aleph.
Do not pull Aleph if you don’t have Kiperina and Barcarola.
You’d better pull and invest in a completely new team archetype in the future instead of pulling Aleph and building Blue Impromptu in late 2026.
As I said before, Aleph is one of the core pieces of this team, but the team itself isn’t strong enough to catch up to other META teams.
Maybe Kiperina, Barcarola, or even Aleph himself will get a Euphoria and suddenly boost this team to another level. But until that happens, let’s just wait and see.
Even if that happens, one of them will definitely be replaced by the newer character.
So no need to pull on the Aleph rerun banner if you don’t have his team yet.
